This week we have been learning to add by counting on. Can your child answer the following addition number sentences following these steps:

1. Identify the bigger number and put it in your head.

Can you make your own hop scotch and write tricky words inside each box. Can you shout out the tricky words as you hop on them.

Writing

Reading

For reading homework, we would like you to read for at least 10 minutes every day. Please sign your child's reading journal every time they read.  Please bring your reading book to school day. We change reading books every Thursday. 

Your child may now be receiving a paper book/sheet to practise reading at home. This is what your child has been reading in school all week and therefore they should be really fluent when reading. Please practise reading at home.
